Prototyping in Augmented Reality

PrototipAR (formerly PintAR) is a mixed fidelity prototyping and authoring tool that exploits situated sketching in mixed reality. It enables rapid-prototyping and allows designers to bring their ideas to life using a digital pen for sketching on a tablet and a head-mounted display for visualizing and designing mixed reality interactions.

Our video at DIS 2019 showcases how PrototipAR works, and our CHI 2019 video showcases the versatility such a tool could provide through case studies of a researcher, an artist, a ballerina, and a clinician.
